Well it is Sunday and all next week is TAKS testing...boo. I am finally driving to school. And Thursday night was the National Honor Society induction ceremony! I am amazing, it is as simple as that. The Congressional Art Contest I entered is being judged this week and we can wear sweat pants =]. This week will be not fantastic but manageable. So hope you all have a good week too!

I'd Be Lying If I Told You Losing You Was Something I Could Handle...

Okay first things first. That picture there won a blue ribbon at the County Fair and a Best in Category ribbon. THAT is how awesome I am . I entered four things in the fair and won five ribbons. They are currently hanging in the school library for all to see. =]
So I can now blog from my phone the same way I Twitter. (follow me on Twitter: PeaceD) Pretty snazzy if I do say so myself...and I do...obviously.
Okay so current irk. We are writing a research paper in English, on topics ranging from battles fought in WWII to the Holocaust itself. I have Children of the Holocaust. But that's not what bugs me...I kind of like research paper. What bugs me are the kids whose parents freaking do their homework...or "help" them. Like we got our summer assignments back for WHAP today, and there were kids who were like "Well I did most of it my mom just kind of went through and "fixed" them for me". Or what bugs me the most, "My dad read me the book 'cause I didn't get it". If you can't read a book on your own by now....maybe you should consider the courses you are taking. Just saying. But back to the research papers, a friend that shall remain nameless (okay her initials are S.W) lol was having trouble writing her thesis, so her MOM wrote it for her! I understand helping but I mean we are in the 10th grade, AND this is a PAP class! We should ALL be able to write a simple thesis! The book thing really bugs me though. My mother doesn't even know anything about my homework, and she would never even consider doing it for me. I have a freshman in my first period who is in regular classes, well her mom literally does her whole Math packet for her?! And it's not even that people don't know how to do it, it is pure laziness. Kids these days..*scoffs at kids these days*. lol. I made an 85 on my summer assignment. I know I could have done 10 times better, but I know it was my fault. I did it like 2 weeks before school started. So it was rushed and sloppy. But atleast I EARNED my grade instead of my Mommy and/or Daddy. Pfffttt.
Oh and RIP Buddy Strait (George Strait's Bro). He died last week in San Antonio. He was my sis' dad's friend. Poor guy.

Well I have to go...dinner =]
